Sugrue South Downs The Trouble With Dreams 2017

Nose of flint, oyster shell, pineapple with crushed grains, hay and shortbread. On the palate a distinct salinity with sharp Chardonnay attack making the wine precise, pure and clean. Acidity and tropical fruit flavours are balanced with biscuit and pastry tones giving richness and complexity. Restrained and fine, this has outstanding potential for further development.

Bottled in July 2018 and first disgorged after three years on lees in June 2021.

Blend :  60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Alcohol 12%
