Gusbourne Boothill Pinot Noir

A clear and lovely rich red colour in the glass. This wine shows the classic characteristics of a cool climate Pinot Noir, with bright red fruits on the nose, including raspberries and wild strawberries, it's full of fruit. On the palate the wine is smooth, rich, elegant and delicate, dominated by juicy red cherries and bramble fruit, with a touch of savoury spice and soft, supple tannins. Very smooth and light in body a medium length to finish which is pleasing. Aged in oak barriques for 10 months adding spice, pepper and dark chocolate with attractive underlying flavours of red current and subtle violet. Very easy to drink and has enough texture to pair well with food. A great English red wine which is considered the best by many.

Alcohol 11.5%. 

Serve with : Lamb, chops or roast leg, even better with herbs, chicken, duck and light game.
