A clear antique gold colour in the glass with subtle aromas of fresh ripe green fruits, apple skin and firm peach. Very smooth and subtle on the palate, oak and butter come through with the fresh green fruits lasting with dry light crisp acidity. A medium finish leaves you wanting more, an easy drinking wine to be enjoyed. 

In Astley's own words 'Probably unrepeatable and an unlikely blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus plus some oak. This wine has been made in very small quantities.'

Blend : Sauvignon Blanc - Madeleine angevine - Bacchus

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Alcohol 11.5%

Serve with : smoked fish or charcuterie, white fish, mild curry. A robust level of acidity will cut through the heavier flavours.
